There are more than 16 million
HDTV sets in homes today. And it is projected
that almost half of all U.S. households, or 50
million American homes, will
have a high-definition set in the next five
years.* We believe this represents
a tremendous opportunity for your cable system’s
HD programming service
offerings, so we’ve created a powerful retail
marketing kit to help you educate
and attract new HD customers. It’s part of our
national ‘True-Def of Hi-Def’
promotion that’s available to cable operators.
As you know, true high-definition requires an
HDTV set, an HD cable box,
an HD signal, and tuning in to the right HD
channel. The True-Def of Hi-Def
campaign focuses on the combined roles played by
these essential elements
in order to create a true high-definition
television experience. To participate in

and help your consumers "Get Clear on the Big
Picture" for HDTV.
Get clear
on the BIG picture.
