DBDS System Release 1.4/1.5 Express
Description
The DBDS System Release 1.4/1.5 is designed for sites that are upgrading the
DBDS to System Release 1.4 or 1.5. This browser-based electronic self-study
course covers the new features of SR 1.4 and 1.5. The self-study focuses on the
processes and tasks performed by a DNCS Operator to provision elements and
services. The self-study follows the structure of the course Activating and
Operating a Digital Subscriber Network and reinforces topics taught in this
course, speeding students' understanding and ability to operate a DBDS.
Audience
This self-study is designed for Digital Network Control System (DNCS)
Operators or personnel who are responsible for operating a DBDS that has been
upgraded to SR 1.4/1.5 or that is scheduled to be upgraded to SR 1.4/1.5
Prerequisites
The following prerequisites are required:
- Successful completion of the course
Activating and Operating Digital Subscriber Networks
- Three months' experience in using a DNCS to
operate and maintain a DBDS
Course Benefits
